The technology behind FiscFort

FiscFort is built on proven open technology, runs in our own data centre and reads your documents with an in-house AI. Here is how it works.

Isometric illustration of the FiscFort platform: security layers above isolated client containers, an AI chip, redundant servers and replicated storage

Built, hosted and maintained by Cloud Acropolis

FiscFort is a product of Cloud Acropolis UAB, a cloud and data centre company in Vilnius, established in 2016. Everything described on this page runs in Cloud Acropolis's own data centre, on its own infrastructure. Cloud Acropolis engineers manage and maintain all of it: servers, storage, network, security, patching, backups and regulatory updates. You do not run or maintain any of it. Cloud Acropolis is ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and PCI DSS certified and provides 24/7 support under a 99.9% uptime SLA.

The stack

Client portal

Not separate software, but an interface to Odoo itself, adapted for business owners rather than accountants. Data entry and daily use are simple enough that you do not need to be an accountant. It works on the web or on a phone.

Odoo 18

The ERP system your accountant works in (accounting, invoicing, employees, payroll). Every client has a dedicated Odoo.

n8n

The workflow automation that moves each document through its steps.

In-house LLM

A local language model trained specifically for accounting documents. Your documents never go to an external AI service.

Docker

Every client runs in its own containers on its own network, isolated from every other client.

PostgreSQL

Each client's data sits in its own database, never shared with another client.

Ubuntu on KVM

All servers run Ubuntu on highly available, fully redundant KVM virtualization across multiple hosts, in our own data centre.

Ceph storage

Your data is stored on Ceph with three-times replication and 100 Gbps connectivity, so a failed disk or host does not take your data with it.

How a document flows

  1. 1

    Upload

You upload an invoice or bill in the portal.

  2. 2

    Workflow

n8n picks it up and passes it to the in-house LLM.

  3. 3

    Reading

The LLM reads it: supplier, dates, lines and VAT.

  4. 4

    Booking

It is booked into your own Odoo.

  5. 5

    Review

Your accountant reviews and approves. Submission is manual, or automated on request.
